Passport Validity Check
Verification of validity of Russian and Ukrainian passports
Please do not automatically assume that any document that your penpal gives you is a genuine document. Mass-production of fake electronic “documents”, such as passports, visas, air tickets, etc is very common among Russian and Ukrainian scam groups.
How can you find out whether you have been given a genuine document or a fake one? We may be able to help you.
There are 2 types of Russian and Ukrainian passports: an internal passport and an international passport. Both types of passports are frequently falsified by the scammers.
The scammers use PhotoShop and similar programs to alter the photos, names, dates of birth, dates of issue, and other important information on the documents. They modify the documents that the the information there would fit the story they are trying to convey.
Below is an example of a forged Russian internal passport.

Please attach the passport to your email. We cannot verify the validity of the passport without being able to look at the actual copy.
The payment information will be sent to you once we review the copy of the passport you want to verify. We need to make sure that the passport is suitable for the verification service.
Validity of Russian internal passports can be easily verified (see an example of a Russian internal passport above on this screen).
We can access the database of Russian governmental agency in charge of passport records to check whether or not the data from your penpal’s passport matches their records. The database is supposedly updated every day. The information used in the database is uploaded directly from the regional police agencies that issue the passports. From our experience, the accuracy of the information in the database is 95-97% (typing errors and outdated information sometimes are detected).
Money back guaranteed if any additional research confirms that the database was wrong.
Resulting information
The inquiry about the passport validity is done through an online inquiry, and can return two possible answers: VALID or NOT VALID.
The outcome of your inquiry will be available within hours (is not minutes) after you place the order.
Please note that the inquiry will only confirm the validity of the passport serial number. It does not confirm the picture on the passport, or the address of the passport owner. Even if the validity of the passport is confirmed, additional investigation of the passport owner’s identity may be a good idea.
Which passports do not qualify for the $45 check?
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to verify validity of Russian international passports and of all Ukrainian passports (see visual examples of those types of passports below).

How do I verify the validity of these types of passports?
Verification of these types of passport is extremely difficult, and very expensive. Therefore, we recommend a different strategy.
If your penpal presented you with a Russian international passport, or a Ukrainian passport, it would be much faster and cheaper to verify the validity of the information printed on the passport (the name and date of birth of the document owner). Therefore, we usually suggest performing a 3-PointVerification to verify the identity of the passport owner rather that trying to verify the passport’s serial number. If the identity of the passport owner is confirmed through the 3-Point Verification, then you will at least know that the person you are talking to are legitimate.
