However, we can help you to obtain the information that you need. We have designed a two-step approach to verifying information about any business company in Russia or Ukraine.

Step One: Internet-Based Research Plus a Phone Call

You provide us the agency’s name and contact information, their web page (if any), and copies of their emails to you

We will check Russian and Ukrainian Internet resources to:

• locate references to the company in their local Yellow Pages and other business listings
• cross-reference the company’s contact information, if it is available online
• locate the company’s taxpayer identification number (a federally-issued ID)
• locate scam reports or customer complaints about this company

We contact the agency on your behalf and ask them to clarify their full legal name, location, and taxpayer ID, if necessary. Most importantly, we ask them to confirm that your penpal is indeed their client.

The results of the research will be available within 12-24 hours on most week days. You will receive an email report detailing our findings.

During this stage of the research, it may become apparent that the agency is not legitimate, and further research may become unnecessary.

Step Two: Governmental Records Research

Using the information obtained in the Step One, we will check governmental records to:

• verify the currency of their business registration
• verify the address and phone number provided on their web site
• obtain information about the owners of the company
• obtain information about the type of business activities in which they are licensed to be involved
